Tuesday 9th Walking Group (1st Walk) (weather permitting) Partners welcome. Meet at 10.am at the tennis courts by the Polideportivo in Campoverde to walk to Mil Palmeras. The walk will be along the dry river bed of the Rio Seco. It will take us over some rough ground and there are two points of difficulty, one being to make our way down a very steep bank of uneven ground and the other being a steep upward bank further along the walk. It is essential that anyone taking part will need to be reasonably fit to manage these two points. The walk although not at a fast pace will take approximately 2.5hours. I would strongly recommend that trainers or walking boots be worn and a bottle of water be carried. Debbie will book the German Restaurant for lunch, and can arrange for a minibus back to Campoverde, Torre etc. We have a large list of names, everyone will be contacted nearer the date to arrange lunch, minibus etc. You will need to fill out a disclaimer before the walk. Debbie will hand these out on the day. PADS have asked to join us on our walk, they will wear their Dalmatian outfits, they will be raising money for their charity, it would be nice if Sophisticattzz would support PADS, and any walkers will be able to pick up sponsor forms via Debbie at Social Nights or from Lounge Bar No6, Campoverde. Saturday 20th Sophisticattzz Annual Christmas Dinner and Dance will be held at the Olympia Restaurant and Bar, Mil Palmeras. 8pm - midnight. The bar at the restaurant will be open early for pre-drinks. Three course Christmas Dinner with all the trimmings, plus wine. Dancing to the sounds of Double D Disco, free raffle. €25 a head.
