The following courses are currently available to our members.
All course's are open to both men and women. You must be a member of Sophisticattzz/genttzz to qualify for the subsidised rate. Otherwise there is a €10 admin charge per course.
All course must be paid for in advance. Therefore a 10 week course at €3 a session is €30 per course payable on the first session. Arrangements can be made to pay in 2 parts, if you know you are away etc only pay for what you attend, let me know in advance
Most courses will run for 10 consecutive weeks. If you wish to join these classes or require anymore information. If there is anything that we are not offering that you would be interested in please let me know and I will try and accommodate the course. Arts and Crafts
Beaded Jewellery Classes with Pat, at The VIP Bar, Campoverde. Starts September 15th 11 - 1pm. €5 a session (4 weeks payable in advance). (Materials are extra but, not expensive). This course will show you how to make your own beaded jewellery in next to no time. We will be using glass beads and Swarovski crystals or pearls to make a variety of bracelets, necklaces and earrings. I will provide you with your beads but I am sure you will want to buy your own once I tell you where you can find them and you see the beautiful colours they come in. Your basic needs to start the class is:
I will provide you with your thread, needles, beads, crystals (there will be a small charge for the beads and crystals) and anything else you might need. We need a minimum of 6 and a maximum of 8 people per class, so speak to friends who might be interested.
Cross Stitch with Patricia in Campoverde at Patricia's house. Fridays 11 am - 1 pm. €5 a session. Please contact Debbie on the above link if you wish to join this small fiendly group.
Art with Di at VIP Bar, Campoverde Starts Thursday 11th 2 - 4pm €5 a session. All level's beginners welcome.

Fashion Design and Clothes making with Andrea, VIP Bar, Campoverde. Time and day to be confirmed. €5 a session plus your material
Christmas Flower decoration course with Pauline. Date and time to be confimed €15 for the day includes lunch. (Flowers and materials extra)
Photography Course with Brian, including how to take better photographs, using your camera correctly, transferring images from camera to pc, basic editing and how to get good prints etc. Starts February Wednesday 17th 11 - 1pm (€7.50 a session) We have 4 male students so far, women are welcome to join this class. Please let me know as soon as possible if you are interested, limited spaces.

Computers for Beginners with Brian €5 a session Monday's 11 - 12.30pm (Campoverde) (spaces available)

Cookery
Prepare and Fine Dine with Alan at The Porterhouse Restaurant, Villamartin. Four week course, 12 - 3.30pm. Prepare and cook a fine cusine 3 course meal then sit and enjoy with a glass of wine. Day and cost to be confirmed.
AUTHENTIC SPANISH COOKERY LESSON's with 'Begona'. I have spoken to Begona she is offering lesson's which includes Spanish history too!! These last about 3 hours, after which you eat the meal you have prepared. The cost is €15 per person. Begona is prepared to host a 'Sophisticattzz only class' we need 15 members to fill the class. Let me know if you are interested?? and I can organise a day that suits you all
Dance and Keep Fit
Tone and Stretch with Adrienne, at VIP Bar, €3 a session, Thursdays 3.30 - 4.30pm.
Salsa Dancing with Jan and Mike. Campoverde. €7 a session. Two hour sessions. Minimum 20 students. Thursday's 4 - 6pm. Two 5 week be confirmed.
Language Courses
Absolute Spanish Beginners Class (for those of you with no experience of Spanish) starting at VIP Restaurant and Bar, Campoverde. Tuesday January 26th 11 - 12pm. €3 for the class. 8 week course (€24) just turn up.
